MiWay doesn't give a damn about small enterprises

During the last 4 years, I have been conned and neglected by MiWay, and more recently, an honest claim I made was straightaway neglected. This is my experience of MiWay alway getting TheirWay:

– In 2015, MiWay conned me into insuring my valuables with them. In a sly move, they persuaded me to insure with them without disclosing that I had to make payments towards a third-party before the insurance could be effective. This resulted in a battle that lasted for weeks.

– In 2017, I tried insuring further valuables at MiWay, but out of pure forgetfulness they neglected to make the insurance effective. This caused a period of confusion my part – for a week or two I did not know wether my valuables were insured or not (surprise! turned out it was not).

– In 2019, MiWay straightaway rejected a claim I made for the damage that a series of power power outages/surges caused to my computer.

------

Regarding the claim I made for the damaged computer: On Monday 3 December 2018, I was busy editing a film using a lot of computer processing power, when my neighbourhood experienced two load shedding periods (I'm a filmmaker at a small, documentary film enterprise, www.blindspotfilms.co.za). What followed was a week of continuous blackouts. My computer started performing poorer and poorer, up until the point where it is now impossible to do any film editing on it. It heated up so much that it started shutting down while I was editing. Tuns out, my computer suffered GPU damage.

Before Monday 3 December 2018 my computer was working perfectly. After Monday 3 December 2018, it got slower and slower, and it started heating up.

According to MiWay, it's a manufacturing fault. According to what I've experienced, load shedding caused damage to my computer.

In MiWay's defence, I made the claim beyond the required period, and apparently the specific model of my computer often exhibits this specific problem. But MiWay ignores the fact that not all damage caused by power outages and surges (especially continuous power outages) can be seen upon inspection.

MiWay clearly doesn't give a damn about individuals and small enterprises. After conducting several in-depth interviews with me, it's evident that they have no regard for any technical grey areas, as well as the credibility of verbal testimonies.

As a result, I'm disputing this claim.
