Miway does not pay out if your are ******
<p>My home was recently robed and Miway will not pay out, apparently the do not cover theft. My premiums is always paid in time and in full. I never missed a payment, and I have been with miway for 8 years and all I've experienced was service that declined every year. Year after year they increase the premiums to a ridicules amount that no one can afford. They always seem to stuff up your policy. And always looking for an excuse not to pay for a claim! Even if you never claimed before. So anyone with a Miway policy should take my advice and cancel it and move to a service provider that is not a joke and will not rob your of your hard earned money. </p>

Let me be a little bit more specific. My house has a alarm installed that is linked to ADT. but becouse I did not specifiy it on my policy I'm now not coverd for theaft. I mean realy why else would you have home content insurance? Also not once did nyone explain to me that if you do not have a alarm you will not be covered for theft, this is manipulation and day light *******. Even if I did specify I have an alram you would stiff have a problem becouse I was ****** by the domestic worker that was there during the day when I was at work to earn money you can *****, so the alarm was not armed she was working there.
And becouse I did specify an alarm my premuims also went up so why would I not be covered for theft.
I'm in the process of laying a complaint at the short tem ombudsman.

I am greatfull for the help, I have changed the rating of this review but I'm not ready to rte it 5 stars or 100% satisfied due to past issues with Miway and that I alwys have to loose my temper and cuase a fight before any action is taken.

It's been weeks since this complaint. I was told a rep would call me to fix my policey this has not happened. Empty promises AGAIN!
