Miway DOES NOT cover you as they claim, BE VERY CAREFULL!!!!

I just went through a terrible experience with Miway with claims and settlements.

After a house break in, a Miway assessor visits my house and lodges the claim. They will cunningly increase you values to the highest amount, adding each s****, even junk you don’t want to ensure. They applaud me of the good quality and high value of your house holds items. It’s definitely their mission to proof to you that you are under ensured.

Once this has been accomplished, they will then use a clause in your contract, telling you that they replace a % of your valued items based on the percentage that you under insured. For instance, if you 50% underinsured, they will only pay you 50% of your claim.

The assessor rudely went through all kitchen cupboards, wardrobes, wife clothes, drawers, everything and forcing value to each little item, even if you don’t care to ensure certain items, old clothes, broken toys whatever. Shouldn't it be my choice to ensure what I want to ensure.

In hindsight, when it comes to the items you claim for, they will add lowest value they can find from "their reputable jeweler" they can get. This is very strange and I cannot accept how Miway will add high value to your household items and add the lowest value to your items you claim for.

Miway claim to put the insurer in the same position that they were before, I completely disagree with this statement. Even their management avoids making contact with you, after they promise to return you call.

This is BAD customer service and they definitely ***** you over.

It's facts that Miway didn't cover me for what I paid them to do, its not my feelings. Its about paying money to an insurance company to cover your items and they don't.

Now my feelings is that it's my own fault and unfortunately that I trusted Miway to cover my items.

Please, don't refer me about your dispute process and seek legal help, that's not the services I paid you to for.

You practicaly failed to cover my items.

It has been found that Miway further cunningly added items to increase the "total sum insured values" and not upholding and respect their own policy and procedures.

It's is evident that the Miway claims assessor requested values for motorized s******s and quad bikes the claim logged under the Mihomestuff section of the policy. According to Miway Policy wording, it is clearly stated that I am not covered under Mihomestuff for vehicles (including motorcars, motorcycles, motorized s******s, e.g "zippy nippy", LDV's, caravans, trailers, aircraft and watercraft) and any vehicle parts and accessories, therefore the related items does not form part of this section and cannot be included into the claim for Mihomestuff.

Miway requested the prices for the bicycles and includes this to the total of the Mihomestuff. The related items are in the policy under the All-Risk insurance, under specified items. This is a clear duplication and indication of adding items to Mihomestuff claim.

When a customer is being untruthful, Miway wants to cancel claims dont settle any part of claim, so what happens if Miway is being untruthful.

They just just change their interpretation of the clauses.

They are bullies and dont cover you as they states.
