Miway Car insurance

I was recently involved in an accident that included two other vehicles and opened a claim with MiWay. Initially, the situation was quite confusing for me. My vehicle was considered a potential write-off, but after looking at the outcome and my financial obligations on the car, the option presented did not make much sense for my situation.

I considered withdrawing my claim and repairing the vehicle privately while continuing with my policy. However, withdrawing the claim would have released MiWay from any obligations related to the accident. Since the incident involved other vehicles, I was concerned about possible third-party claims in the future. Even though I believe my vehicle was not at fault, I did not want to risk dealing with any potential claims on my own without my insurer supporting me.

After several discussions and explaining my concerns, MiWay took the time to review my case again. In the end, they worked with me to find a practical solution by contributing towards the repair costs while allowing me to keep my policy active. This gives me peace of mind knowing that if any third-party claims arise in the future, MiWay will still be able to assist me.

I appreciate that they were willing to listen, reconsider the situation, and find a fair outcome rather than simply closing the claim. That level of engagement and willingness to help made a big difference to me and my family.

I would also like to thank Vuyo Veliso for all his help. He remained calm and professional throughout the process, even when I was understandably frustrated. He took the time to understand my concerns and went above and beyond to help find a fair outcome for both myself and MiWay.

I am truly grateful for how MiWay handled this situation. It is easy for insurance companies to make clients feel unsupported during difficult times, which often leads people to change insurers. MiWay, however, handled this matter in a way that made me feel valued as a client. Because of this experience, they have earned my loyalty, even if I were to find cheaper insurance elsewhere.
