MiWay Car Insurance Claim

I am very pleased with the service and assistance provided by MiWay. My accident happened during peak time traffic on a Friday evening where the truck infront of me rolled backwards into my car, thankfully there was a towing company's bakkie right next to me as it happened, and basically within minutes of me jumping out of my car had MiWay phoned them to notify them and they said to me "Don't worry, MiWay just called, we'll be towing your vehicle." They even went so far as to drop me off at home after we had taken my car to the Renew-It.

I then phoned MiWay on the Saturday morning, and again, within 15 minutes was I jumping into an Uber to go get my rental car (which was speedily arranged on a Saturday thanks to Avis car hire), and the MiWay consultant had very helpfully gone through the particulars, lodged the claim and they were in contact with me again first thing on Monday morning to proceed.

My car was unfortunately deemed a write off. But, upon enquiring (slightly anxiously), the MiWay consultant calmly explained that the damages amounted to more than 60% of the car's book value, therefore the write off. But there were no hitches, no "buts" and totally understandeable. They then proceeded to assist me through the next steps of getting the required documents through to them, and within a few days was the payment processed.

I am very impressed and satisfied with this service, the consultants are very patient, helpful, friendly and professional, and the process was smooth, efficient and informative.
