Miway can't put their money where their mouth is

On the 1st July 2021 Miway contacted me to see if they can offer me a better deal on my vehicle insurance. At first I was hesitant, but the person I spoke to told me about their R400 challenge, where if they cannot beat my current premium, they will oay me R400. So after about 30min of conversation, they failed to offer me a better premium, and they requested that I send through my current insurance, so that they could do a side by side comparison. I then sent through the documents and I never heard from them. So on the 23rd August I sent them another email enquiring about the payout. They then rep**** and said I should forward them my full insurance policy, as the one I sent them was apparently insufficient. I then sent them a more detailed document on the 25th August containing my full polict detail. I did not hear from them again, so on the 15th September I sent them another mail to please get back to me regarding the payout, and I still haven't heard from them. To me it seems that Miway are big talkers when they want you to pay them money, but when it comes to them having to pay up, they are nowhere to be seen. I'm actually glad that they couldn't beat my current premiums, as I can't imagine having to struggle so much to get a payout from them.
