Miway bad service

I am very unhappy with Miway. On the 23rd of October 2023 my daughter had a taxi driver smash into her at high speed while she had her kids with her in my car. The street is a one lane going south and one lane going North. My daughter was driving South and had stopped and indicated to the right to enter into another road. The taxi which was behind her should have stopped and waited for her to get into that road that she had indicated to so that the taxi can carry on down the road since its a one lane road. Once the cars coming up North were clear my daughter entered as she saw it was safe. The taxi came out of nowhere at high speed and smashed her from the right that she was entering into. The taxi overtook her from the right instead of waiting and letting her go into the right that she had indicated to and then carry on down the road. If there were cars coming up North, then the taxi would have smashed into those cars as well. Cops were there and they saw the scene, witnesses who all saw the accident shouted at the taxi driver who had ran away from the scene and had come back. They all told him that he was wrong they saw the accident happen and he overtook me on my right on the wrong side of the road where you dont overtake. Police report was done. Miway conversations with my daughter to explain the accident were done. While the car was taken in we kept asking, as to what will happen to the person who smashed into my car since they are responsiple. We were told we have to pay the R7500 access and wait for all repairs to be done first and then only can the Miway legal team claim from the taxi drivers side. I went into depression and lost weight had sleepless nights and i am a pensioner and a bread winner so this really took a toll on me. I ended up borrowing money and taking some from my salary which is now small since im a pensioner. I am now in so much dept because of the access. Someone called my daughter from the other party to explain the scene and that was done. Even that person also agreed that the taxi driver was wrong. Another lady from Miway asked my daughter to explain again about the accident and when she was done she was told she will be contacted by someone else from Miway and may need to explain again for the 100th time i mean really its exhausting. They told my daughter they would contact her and send an email, but nothing we keep on having to call Miway since we want a resolution. We were told to send a self inspection once the car is done to get some kind of reward. We did that via the Miway app on the 31st of January 2024 when we fetched the car. On the 19th of Feb 2024 we got an email to send this again. We called and were told that it was received, but we must now email Miway to escalate as to why we have not received the reward. We emailed Miway and got a response the same day telling us that if this was not done on the app then there will be no reward. I mean really how many more people do we have to tell at Miway that the self inspection was done on the app and we called and were told it was received. Now were told that the other party is now claiming against us as if we were at fault. So what is the legal team really doing at Miway why are they not fighting for us since we were told they will handle this for us. There were witnesses and the accident itself needs no explanation everyone who arrived at the scene saw and even said the taxi was wrong. The accident itself and how the cars were positioned told the story. Why did the taxi driver run away if he was not at fault. He ran away and the guys that sit at the corner tuckshop even saw the street guys ***** money from the taxi since the driver had run away and left the taxi unattended. Miway was even given a number for one of the witnessess who was sitting at the corner tuckshop when the accident happened. I owe people money now and i am depressed. I dont know what to do. There is no sense of urgency from Miway i am tired of calling and also. Other insurances you give a police report and explain the accident maybe about 2 to 3 times and things are finalised and you even get a huge reward in a form of cash. I am highly dissapointed i am even thinking of selling my car now so i can pay back people that i owe since i had borrowed the R7500 and some of the money i borrowed had interest on top so im deep in dept. I will never wish this on anyone its really stressful.
