MiWay bad service

I was involved in an accident (rear ended) on 4 April 2019 by no fault of mine and lodged a claim with MiWay. The vehicle was then taken to a panel beater for repairs as the initial assessment said that it could be repaired, only for the damages to be deemed too much and the vehicle declared a write off. It is now 20 May 2019 almost 7 weeks later and the claim is still not finalized. If I phone the claims department to find out what the status of the claim is I keep being told the same thing, "the vehicle needs to be taken to a salvage yard" and they cannot tell me when that will be or to which salvage yard. Currently I am without a vehicle to drive which is a major inconvenience as this process should have been completed by now. Not once during this time I have ever been contacted by either MiWay or the panel beater where the vehicle was originally taken and have always had to initiate the communications between all parties myself. I would definitely recommend staying away from MiWay as their service levels are shockingly bad.

Follow up call received but as expected it was not worth anything. I have still not been told the real reason as to what the hold up is and just continue to receive generic feedback such as we "will investigate and get back to you." This is now starting to have an impact on my work and I cannot afford to possibly lose my job as a result of MiWay's incompetence.
