MIWAY - Away from home for more than 14 days better let big brother know.

Please MIWAY clients be aware that the insurance company wants a report of your movements should your vehicle be away from your primary registered address for more than 14 days of the month. They will adjust your premium accordingly. Surely this is unconstitutional and against freedom of movement - and who is really going to remember to report to their insurance that they are taking a two week holiday - if something happens during this unreported time away from your residence will you still be covered? If I change my permanent and registered address of course I would inform them but to report on every movement of more than 2 weeks not only smacks of police state it defeats the purpose of owning a vehicle and being able to travel wherever and whenever I like.
