MiWay authorises used parts for fitment.

Attention attention! A recent encounter with MiWay insurance.

My car got into an accident back in March 2025. Today, the 29th of July 2025, the car is not yet repaired. I have been calling and going up and down with the panel beater, only to find out MiWay is the one delaying the entire process because they authorised used parts to be fitted to the vehicle (Toyota Fortuner).

So my point here is that they authorised the panelbeater to procure used parts, and those parts are not fitting accurately to the vehicle, hence the back and forth since March 2025. Why not purchase the parts all from Toyota, which could have been faster and easier.

Word of advice: if you are using Miway, always insist on seeing the authorisation paperwork for the parts being authorised to be fitted on your vehicle.
