MiWay and Renewit Reputation

Last week on Friday I got a call and an email from Renewit stating that my car was a write off. Today I am getting smses from Renewit stating that they are waiting for parts to repair my car. This to me did not make sense. I called and enquire about this from Renewit, then they told me that the guy who was assessing the car made a mistake. I asked them if the insurer has a right/obligation to overule what the assessor has recommended. They responded and said no. Because this mistake thing of the assessor doesn't make sense to me. Why do they raise this mistake thing after I have asked them? I even asked Miway to give me assessor's accident reports, they haven't even responded to my email.
