Miway and Durban Central Panelbeaters in Cahoots to Undermine 3rd Party Claimant

I was involved in a minor accident with a Miway client, who admitted fault and assured me that they were suitably covered for 3rd party claims. During the horrible claims against a Miway client process I proactively engaged in I was initially asked to please supply quotations for the repairs. I did so, one of the quotations I received was from Durban Central Panelbeaters for an amount of R33090.73.

After submitting these quotes to MiWay, I was told that as the quotes were higher than R5000 they would need to send their own specialist assessor.

Julio from Miway specialist assessor met with me a few days later and did his assessment.

Weeks later I received the outcome from this, based on a quotation obtained from the same Durban Central Panelbeaters, MiWay offered me R24747.09 to repair my vehicle.

I visited Durban Central Panelbeaters shortly after and on presenting the offer from Miway a manager there made it very clear to me that any structural repairs will be for my own cost. That sounded alarm bells that something was not right, it's not fair that either:

Durban Central Panelbeaters over-quoted me by R8343 me on my intitial assessment for the repairs, which they could do for cheaper only a few days later.

MiWay is conniving to under compensate me for the repair to pre-collision condition of my vehicle, and the Panel Beater knows this (even though it is their actual quote), thereby stating that there could be additional costs for my own account.

Either way I am terminating further dealings with both of these companies as I feel this sense of sinisterness is shameful business conduct.
