MiWay - above the law?

2 months after the Miway client skiped a robot and caused R30 000 worth of damage to our car. After numerous follow ups and very bad service, MiWay eventually said that "each party to bear own cost". MiWay admitted that "we are not disputing the fact that our client was the liable party". There is actual video footage of their client being responsible for the accident. He skipped a red robot and crashed into our car. We have been driving that same route, same time, twice a day for the last 3 years as it's a block from the school. (My son is in grade 2 and has been in that school since grade R) MiWay said that because we are responsible for 20% of the damage to their client's car and he is responsible for 80% of the accident, our qoute ended in a negative and they are not paying. The client was advised that he has to have no contact with us after MiWay refused to pay the claim. The driver is not the owner of the car, nor the MiWay insured, no one wanted to give us the owner's detail that we can sort it out. MiWay basically advised their client that he just got away with causing a R30 000 accident, alot of inconvenience as we only have 1 car now and us having to deal with very rude MiWay Legal and managers. MiWay basically say they and their clients are above the law and has to take no responsibility or face any consequences.
