MiWay A Huge Inconvenience to Time and Money

I had a horrible experience with Miway car insurance after I had experienced a theft attempt on my car. I called the insurance to tow my car to my home, because after looking at the damages of my car, I realised that I could privately fix it in a day or two and at low price, but the consultants insisted that my car should be towed to their panel beaters for inspection, because it was a theft incident. I insisted that I wanted my car, because I was not going to claim, but they took it to Centurion for inspection in spite of my request. Their panel beaters came back with a ridiculous quote of R13 000 to fix my car and a huge access amount of R4200. Getting my car back from them to fix my car privately was hell, it took them six days to return my car, they were not bothered about how I was travelling since I could not even get my courtesy car from them due to my credit cards being ****** in the theft incident. I had to make extra travel arrangements, which came at a hefty cost, the least they could do was deposit me R500 only for all the extra costs they cost me. They caused me a huge inconvenience by towing my car to their panel-beaters, who also returned the interior of my car is worse state than they found it. When I got my car, I managed to fix it privately with the cost not more than R3000. This shows, they are not worth my comprehensive monthly premium.
