Miway 3 weeks later claim still ongoing

Hi, I logged a claim with Miway on the 17th of December. The vehicle was towed by Miway on the 19th and taken to a panel beater for assessment, after the assessment was completed I was told that the damage to my car was caused by use or mechanical failure that would not be covered under my policy so i requested the report from Miway so that I could see for myself. I received the report and it plainly states the below regarding vehicle status, "Severity of Impact: Advanced structural damage" "Vehicle status on inspection: Unroadworthy, Accidental damage"

I queried the above statements from the report and have now been told that my car may have to be sent to an engine expert for another assessment. I do not understand why a second inspection would be required if the initial assessment highlighted the damage and a quote was generated from this, would this not mean that the initial report from Miway was faulty or invalid? It appears Miway is going out of it's way to not pay out a valid claim and finding anyway to invalidate my claim by delaying tactics e.g the claims person dealing with my claim has been changed twice (currently 3 weeks since claim was logged) and giving me excuses about the festive period slowing the process when it is now the second week of January.

I feel that i am being taken advantage of as a customer as all payments have been made on time as expected however I am unable to get the same timeous service from Miway. I would like answers on why my claim has not yet been resolved and why there is another assessment required if Miway deems their initial assessment to be valid as this looks like an attempt to invalidate the initial assessment which states that the damage is accidental?
