MiSmart more like Outsmarted!
MiWay offers a policy called "MiSmart" which they market as, "Why pay your entire access for small accidents", the policy is about R79pm with a R250 access and covers up to R3500. I had a minor bumper incident, spanning over my fender (left). I went to my local panel beater and he quoted R3200 for the entire job, he continued and said that this should be claimable on my "scratch and dent" cover. Yet today MiSmart instructed me that the damage is too big, yet it falls into the claimable amount. This is negative vetting towards customers, I am sad to say after my 1st every claim, this is what I received, not sure why I should continue with this policy, and also feel that more people need be educated about this so called "Why pay your entire access for small accidents" - Dent and Scratch Cover by MiWay......
