Mimotor combo ****. What they don't tell you when offering a add-on.

I was offered a Mimotor combo add on for scratch and dent. What I was not told by Miway is that once you do a claim for scratch and dent the incident appears on your profile as a accident/loss and stays on your record for three years. Whether you claim for a scratch on your bumper or scratch on your mag it is recorded as a accident loss. So if you are wanting to go and look for a cheaper premium or better benefits you will be offered a high installment because your record reflects accident claims. Therefore you would need to stay with your current insurer as they would be giving you the best offer. In other words Miway scores by keeping you with them and a client for three years. Called in requesting feedback and my call was escalated. I was informed by Tumelo Kolisang a agent from Miway that unfortunetly I was not advised that when I claim it goes on my record and that was it. So advice do not take a Scratch and dent policy where a claim will go on your record as a accident when you just fixed a scratch on your mag.
