Mi Way? NOT!!!
On Monday this week my Mom was beaten and ****** by intruders in her home. All valuables in her home were ****** along with the car keys and the spare keys within the safes.<br> With all the money taken and no vehicle keys to access the vehicles, my parents are not mobile and nor can they afford to replace the items ******.Miway was contacted to replace the keys as part of the insurance policy, but are charging a full motor vehicle excess of R3,500 for the replacement of the keys! The cost of the keys are probably less than the excess!!! Getz)Why are we supposed to pay full vehicle excess when there is nothing wrong with the cars???Every other insurance company does not charge for this as a colleague who is with Sanlam did not pay any excess at all! They paid the money into his account for the replacement of the keys within 48 hours.This seems to be pure greed and advantage is taken over people who are unable to put up a fight on this.Insurance law is a system that is supposed to replace what was taken from you to put you back into the financial state you were in prior to the incident.Is Miway providing insurances? or are they a money hungry company wanting to make a quick bu
