MI WAY INSURANCE

My son had a ******* in his room, during which his laptop was ****** and I lodged a claim with Miway Insurance. They gave me a token for takealot but the amount they gave me was insufficient to buy a decent laptop. A month later his room was broken into a 2nd time whilst he wasn't there and stole about 6 pairs of pants, 5 pairs of shorts and 10 hoodies and 40 T shirts. I lodged a claim for 4 pairs of pants, 4 shorts and 5 hoodies. I only claimed for the expensive clothes and did not claim for the other goods. I was asked a thousand questions and asked to supply invoices for the clothing, or pictures of the clothing. Now who on earth keeps all the invoices for their clothing over years and takes pictures of them. The consultant phoned me numerous times asking the same questions over and over and then arrived at the figure of R2,200 after deducting the excess for all of the clothing!! How on earth are you supposed to buy clothes at that price?? Not satisfied at all
