Mi-Flat Tyre
On the 5 of June 2019 at 16:50pm I called in for roadside assistance with a Flat Wheel. Wian, answered the call and was courteous.
After informing him of my situation and sending him my physical location from a service station thought help would arrive soon ONLY to be told that he mistakenly despatched someone to my home address. He almost immediately rectified his mistake but by 17:40 pm with me calling back 3 or 4 times there was even much more confusion and no assistance yet.
I called and ask to speak to someone in managerial capacity and I was assisted by Nkhosi who informed me that his manager, Thobogo is no available but that his first priority was to assist me.
HE arranged for Uber vouchers as I still had another individual to pick up and it was by now growing darker and later still. I arranged the Uber ride eventhough I had not yet been assisted and it was now way after 18:00pm.
We finally resolved the matter but it was now just after 18:40pm.
Thobogo (manager on duty) made contact with me the evening on my way driving home finally at 19:00pm after leaving work at 16:30pm that day. I asked him to please investigate and call me back the following day. The next day a Michael contacted me whilst I was having the Tyre fixed I asked him to call me a bit later.
Michael (Having only minimal facts) was in clued in on my HORRIBLE experience and this after it was my first time using the MiWay assistance having been convinced to moving from then insurer. HE said that he and Thobogo spoke and that would like to compensate me by paying half of my premium for the month of June...
Really???
I asked him the same question I posed to Thobogo. "What if something were to have happened?" and he just said the "I understand how you feel.." but did he really??
I will not hold this against you but after speaking with Michael he was suppose to speak again with Thobogo and revert back to me.
TO date I have not seen a email or had a call from the MiWay Team and this to me is not a good sign of Mi-Insurer.
