Massive premium increase!

My policy renewal documents came through today.

The premium increased by 25%.

This is ****************. Especially with such an old vehicle (2006 Polo).

How can you possibly have a premium increase of 25% - for what? CPI was approx 6%. This is more than 4x inflation .

The reasons in the policy documents are template reasons just spat onto the policy document - I want an actual calculation to see how this has come about.

I'm moving to another insurer.
