Life Cover - Not Life Cover After all

<p>I took out a life insurance policy through MiWay 2013 / 2014. September 2016 I got an insurance broker to look at all my policies. He then informed me that MiWay was not a life insurance it was merely an accident / accidental death cover. Needless to say I was really upset about this. I then sent MiWay an email and asked if they could assist me in upgrading / changing this policy to a life cover, which is what I had asked for in the first place. I had no response. I went onto MiWay website and sent an online message, still no reply. I phoned and got no joy. I eventually sent them an email saying that they must please stop debiting my account and cancel the "Life Policy". Every month they debit my account and every month I return the debit order. I have received sms's from them telling me that they have not been able to collect my debit order. I have given up on contacting them and simply just return the debit order. One would think that after being returned unpaid for 5 months in a row, that they would get someone to contact me to find out what the problem is and not send sms's saying they have not been able to collect the debit order. But they just couldn't be bothered. I have seen that MiWay has had an overall good rating and response on Hellopeter. And I am happy that this is the case, and that some people have really had a good experience with them. But I am sorry, I will never take out another policy from MiWay, and I will keep returning that debit order until they actually realise that I don't want the damn policy anymore. MiWay, wake up and smell the roses. I do not want your "Lifecover".</p>
