Join Miway at your own risk!! Worst service ever!!

If you want a headache with your insurance then definitely insure with MiWay!! I've been with MiWay for 11 years and I've never claimed even once. This was my 1st claim and I have never experienced this amount of stress ever in my life and it's all thanks to them. My claim was approved on the 19 January 2024. That was the last time I was called by Danielle the lady handling my claim. She told me she has made a request for my vehicle to be moved from MiWay assessment centre to where it’s going to be fixed at the panel beaters. From the 23rd January I have been calling MiWay to ask why my car is still not delivered to the panel beaters, no answer. For the whole two weeks, Noone could give me an answer why my car has not been moved. I had to threaten to write a bad review for them to actually move my car. Two whole weeks have been wasted with my curtsey car because someone was not doing their job and I’m now suffering for it. I called MiWay on Friday the 16 February to lodge a complaint about this and I was told my complain will be escalated. On Monday 19 February 2024 I called MiWay AGAIN to ask about the progress of my complain and I was told no complain was lodged. I was truly defeated. I told that lady how much suffering I have endured with MiWay and their level of service or lack thereof and how unfair it is towards me, all she could say was she is going to escalate it. Same Monday I got a message to say my rental has been terminated by MiWay I must return the curtesy car on the 21 February 2024 as my 30 days has ended, yet my contract with Avis says I must return the car on the 22 February 2024, so MiWay is robbing me of one more day. Wow! The panel beaters are going to receive parts on the 29 February 2024, so that means I will have no means of transport for two full weeks that I had paid for, that MiWay had conveniently wasted for me. Worst insurance ever. I regret ever joining this Insurance. With MiWay it's definitely “Their way or No way”. Join them at your own risk!
