I've been put in an extremely uncomfortable situation.
This is my story, Maybe some one out there will learn from this.
In 2017 November i changed car, bought a car and add a few extras to it (Factory fitted), Sunroof, 16" Mags, etc. During the process of getting cover for this car i declared to Miway about the cars extras and this went as far as me sending the insurance company the Quotation and invoice form the dealership. These documents detail what makes up the value or purchase price of my car, including extras. At this point Miway i had declared everything about the car and they knew what they were insuring.
Yesterday (2019/01/29) was on the phone with one of the Miway representatives discussing my policy's yearly review, that's when i found out that all this time MY SUNROOF IS NOT PART OF THE COVER BECAUSE ITS AN EXTRA (BOOM SHELL DROOPED!!!!!!!).
So for over a year I've been a happily paying my premiums thinking that my car is fully covered and know i have fock out extra cash and bear excess for my sunroof.
I've been put in an extremely uncomfortable situation. How can i declare all this things from the begging and only a year later i get yo find out. At this point im really not sure what is covered or not covered, not even sure if Miway policy is worth paying any more.

Please stay away from Miway.......I'm so stressed, Going through Hell!!!
My policy was amended to included the extra features as they are in the invoice and i was told the car is fully covers.
22nd March 2023 around 19:30 I'm driving on the N3 something hits the sunroof hard and loud, it cracks and breaks into the car, i do my best to keep the car under control and avoid hitting other cars, i stop on the side of the freeway.
I immediately notified Miway of what has happened and i was assisted with road side assistance. 23th March 2023 I call to lodge a claim for my Sunroof and i submit the photos of the damage. At this point I'm thinking this is gonna be a simply process cause trust Miway. 24th March 2023 Im told fixing the sunroof will be 22K how ever I'm only covered for 10k (Bombshell dropped).
That say to me I could have covered it for a higher value....I never told them to put it 10k.
On the dealership invoice, the sunroof was a 10K extra feature(2017).
That was lifted as it it from the invoice and put in the policy.
Does this mean that one can cover thier car for higher that the retail value?
Beside all of that, how was I suppose to know that a 10k sunroof in 2017 would cost 22k to fixed in 2023?
Remember, this car was insured at retail value, as it was from the manufacture/dealership.
After all these year of being with Miway ( 3 Cars later) I've lost all the trust and confidence i had with Miway.
