It all comes together

I normally write these reviews shortly after great service, however, I thought that I'll take my time with this one. Miway has always been known for its innovative products and processes. I suppose if Our President had his Ipad insured by Miway, they would probably para-shoot drop one to him at the podium. And have a speech preloaded.

I have been met with unexpected losses over the last few days. My wife dropped her phone and my contractor broke my bathroom basin. I was first met with Ms. Larato Komako who handled my basin claim. To me, it's always the personal touch that matters. We are human and dealing with Ms. Larato was very pleasant. She talked to me like a person and not a client. She really tried her level best to motivate my claim to be approved. But unfortunately, this was not to be. Although I have a clause to notify Miway of construction being done in excluded accidental losses during construction. I was disappointed but Larato explained the reasoning to me logically. She is awesome and has a very cool way to deliver bad news. But I do believe she tried and that is all that matters. Thank you Larato.

My second claim was approved, which was my wife’s phone. It is listed on my policy, so it was probably easier to process. Mr. Solly Mooka flew in and saved the day, he replaced my wife’s phone within 4 days (and upgraded it). If that doesn’t make you a superhero then nothing will. My wife was so happy with you I don’t know if I should be worried ?. Thank you, Kind Sir.

When I received the new phone I thought it best to make sure I insured it. Then there was Ms. Puleng Mochabang. The reliable Ms. Puleng assisted me with loading the new phone and notice an error on my portfolio. She informed me to send her the needed information when I can, and she will swiftly call me back to resolve the issue. And would you believe it? That is what happened. If you run this country Ma’am, I do believe we will all be vaccinated. Of cause, speak with all due respect to our president. It is just that I believe you can do wonders if challenged enough. You then opened the door to more impossibilities.

As we all are finding the situation in our country hard. It is very clear that everyone is struggling or at least feeling the pain financially. There are cer*****ies that would lead many of my South African brothers and sisters to choose between eating and the need for insurance. I have not escaped that reality. I am lucky and blessed to have 3 beautiful children and with that comes a lot of expenses. I welcomed the understanding and calm voice of Puleng Mochabang. Her work must be very challenging as she tries to keep the insurance which we all really need within our individual affordability. This lady allowed me to have a few extra in my pocket to spoil at least one of my 3 kids a week. It will be fun to have them fight it out as to who’s week is first….. Puleng I know you went beyond your call and made it happen.

This is my findings. It does not take one person to make it happen. Miway is a team, and each plays a vital role to keep it all moving. If one fails, they all fail. I do believe this is what makes Miway so great. I’ve been with Miway for a very long time and God willing I will have the means to stay with Miway.
