Insurance refusing a claim

I am so disappointed that my insurance doesn't cover for technical faults in the car, i replaced the battery and then the car is showing a fault on the airbags and they refuse to cover the costs. Airbags are a safety feature in the car, you would think they would take that serious. Wow!
