Insurance claim

Good day, I am Petre, Nyl and I would want to use this opportunity to illustrate the bad experience I'm experiencing with Miway. I reported my my car accident with Miway on the 20th of August 2017. I called Miway made the claim ( claim number : c879441) and for them to tow the car, that very same day the service was expeditious, however the following day Bridgette from Miway called me to process the claim. When I asked where the car is parked she couldn't tell me. She told me the Asessor will assess the damage and decide whether it's a write-off or not but that will happen only when the location of the car is determined.

I had to call Miway every now and then to find out about the location of the car. On Tuesday 22nd of August I called again they could tell me where the car is parked and by that time the car has been assessed and concluded a write-off and they did not call me to inform, I found that out by the place the car was parked at. They told me Miway informed them the car is a write off, Miway did not inform me. Later that afternoon I called Miway to question this situation and Prudance from Miway told me that it is noted that they did inform me of which was not the case...

I am stressing, I am stranded, we are in the 3rd week of this claim and the only progress there is is that the claim moved from Bridgette to the Asessor J. P who told me yesterday 04 September 2017 the claim will be handed over to a specialist. Insuring your assets is suppose to reduce the time and loss in these situations, but with my experience I feel that Miway is not taking my struggle into consideration..its the 3rd week now and I still don't know what is happening with my claim.

Today 06 September 2017 I received a call updating me about the specialist being appointed, waiting on the specialist....my life is standing still for 3 weeks now, I've been stressing for 3 weeks now, and I am paying insurance...right now I don't see why I was paying insurance because I don't feel they are out there to help me.

I still feel that the lack of updating the client is not okay, however the response from Rene and bridgette is appreciated.
