Incorrect inputs used in a customer quote.
I called into Miway to request a quote this evening and the sales agent quoted me on the wrong market value. The car in question is a new Ford ranger, of which the sales agent mentioned that they get market values from dealers (Unknown). My expectation is that, MiWay would get their information from Ford SA itself, over the vehicles that they sell in the market (Especially new cars). The sales agent then later amended the value, through what appears to be a online search on the ford website. To my amazement, he mentioned that the premium would remain the same due to the risk profile. My only question is how many of their deals are not verified to have the correct inputs? In my view, the usage of the incorrect information would adversely impact a customer.
