Incorrect information on No Claims Bonus letter

I have moved to the UK and require a no claims bonus letter for the car that I have bought here. MiWay has a standard computer generated letter that lists any claims that you have had on your policy. On my NCB letter it states on "9/10/2014 Wheel TBA - claim type accident" . I have never had any accidents in any of my vehicles insured with them, and when I called to query this I was told that this was for the replacement of a Windscreen that was cracked due to a stone flying up and hitting it. Their system does not have a category for this and as the Windscreen is part of the car they use the word "wheel". This creates the impression that I have had an accident in the car.

I have asked for a letter explaining this to be sent to me so that I can pass it on to my insurance company in the UK, but they cannot do it. They only have the standard computer generated letter and the UK insurer must call MiWay and they will give the explanation telephonically.

I find this unacceptable and for a company that is so proud of their customer service, they should be able to do a letter and not just blame the system.

Hi, I did receive a response, thank you. However I have since requested that the NCB letter be redone in my name as I was the policy holder in September and not my daughter. I requested this a week ago and am still waiting!
