This started when my car was bumped into while stationary at a shopping center, filed my claim did the whole procedure. A few days later I got a call from a Miway agent Livhu, who seemed only to call to chastise me, and told me I had misled their insurance company by saying that I had been insured for 7 years. I told her I was overseas before as I had told the agent that had initially called me to sign me on. The question If I remember correctly was how many years had you been insured, and I answered seven. Then I was told they could not verify with overseas companies??<br> Well my excess was supposed to be 3500 but it went up to R6800. I told their agent that I wanted the transcripts<br> for the calls so I could review them with the help of a family lawyer in order to contest the inflated excess, but they just went ahead and processed the claim before referring to me. All I got was a call from the Agent Livhu that the claim had been processed and I had to pay R6800. <br> <br> I am furious with the way this was handled, that I will start a blog about the sleazy way Miway does business. There is no transparency with their customers, now I want to lawyer up and see where this goes, so frustrated.<br>
