Incentive option not mentioned with sales offer

On the 6th May 2015 I was contacted by one of your consultants to take up a car and household content package. We had gone through the entire call, and my current insurance could not be beaten in terms of price and excess. Therefore i did not accept the quotation. On the 7th I was called by another consultant who wanted to provide another quotation, but stated that I would be paid R1000.00 if they could not beat my current insurance package. I mentioned my call the previous day, and he asked whether I was advised about the R1000 incentive, to which I rep****, there was no mention thereof. It seems as if double standards are applying. I need clarity regarding this.
