I’m writing regarding claim for cracked tiles and paint peeling on the walls of my bathroom and kitchen and cracked tiles Assessor was appointed and they come on Saturday inspected the property and noted that the damage appeared to be caused by dampness.
Failure to communicate clearly. I was not provided with a written explanation of the decision as required under your service standards.

19 May 2026, 22:00I’m writing regarding claim for cracked tiles and paint peeling on the walls of my bathroom and kitchen and cracked tiles
Assessor was appointed and they come on Saturday inspected the property and noted that the damage appeared to be caused by dampness. Second assessor was appointed to check the leak. He confirmed that the dampness is due to the bathtub not being properly installed, resulting in water leakage.
However, regarding the cracked tiles, the leak detector stated that the cause is unknown and was not linked to the bathtub leak.
My concern is that the claim for both the wall and the tiles was registered under a single claim. I have now received notice that the entire claim is being rejected, but I have not been provided with a valid reason for rejecting the tile portion specifically.
Since the tile damage was not determined to be related to the bathtub installation issue, and no cause has been identified, I believe they should send contractors to fix them. 2 assassors said the same thing that the course is unknown
Provide the specific policy clause and reason for rejecting the tile portion of the claim, and
Reconsider the claim for the tile damage based on the leak detector’s finding that the cause is unknown?
