claim no C ********** Miway motor vehicle insurance After numerous emails to Miways dispute department they still have not called regarding the payment on my claim , I even mailed them the prices of vehicles similar to mine after a quick online search and still no answer. how is it possible that something that took me 20 minutes can take a company as large as miway up to 14 working days to investigate? do they have that many disputes regarding their payouts.

let me breakdown the whole scenario. had a single vehicle accident (not my fault) tow trucks on scene almost immediately( cell phone battery was flat ) so could not call miway assist, but used towing company affilliated to miway. ( have to pay for the towing and storage cost because miway didnt know where the towing company was situated??mmm) vehicle written off basically 5 working days after accident . I contacted finance company . they request documents i only get said docs an extra week later, Acceptance of loss which i did not sign and a breakdown of excecces and what miway will be paying out which is less than than the settlement amount from finance company , i call email miway and explain basic insurance principle that it is the insurers duty to insure that the insured is left in the same position they were before the accident. asked their rep if i was in the same position and she grudginly had to say that no i was not , and have been waiting on miway to get back to me ever since. Miway, The company I work for will be moving premises very soon , all traveling expenses incurred will be for YOUR account .
