My car got damaged in December 2017 and my claim was approved. The car was in a driveable state as only the back rear door was damaged. Miway then booked me to panel beaters of their choice (Brooklyn Automotive Refinisher). These panel beaters gave me a date of the 12th of February 2018 to bring the car in. The damage was minimal on my car so i was ok driving the car till then. My car is still not finished today (05/03/2018) but on friday (02/03/2018) when i finally spoke to someone at the panel beaters they said my car would be finished on that day and they will call me back to confirm time but i wasn't called and when i tried calling the phone was never answered. I now have to pay for the courtesy car from my own pocket as they took so long that my courtesy car period expired. These panel beaters are not professional at all because its either they never answer calls or they tell you the client liason people are not available and will call you back which they never do. Why would a reputable company such as MIWAY use such service providers ? Replacing a car door and repainting a car should not take this long and i shall not have to pay for this.
