Great Service at Terrible Pricing

I have been with Miway since 2019. I have always had good service, they had collected me one day when the car broke down and all in all it has been a pleasurable experience. My car that was insured is a Chevrolet Cruze LS 1.6 and I have been driving it for 10 years now. I added a new vehicle and changed my address on my car from CPT to JHB. This caused my premium on my car to increase from 1700 rand to 3700 rand. The 1st consultant did not make mention and it was sent through on a new policy form. A debimandate came through shortly (which I cancelled). The consultants could not fix the 2000 rand increase and upper management did not even take the call even after the consultants could not fix the system issue, so the policy for the car was cancelled. I would argue that although Miway provides good service and support, that their understanding of their own system causes an unnecessary increase in our monthly premiums. I got a comprehensive cover from outsurance with a car rental option at 1360 rand. I believe service from outsurance would match that of Miway while trumping the premium you pay. I have not thrown my 4 year relationship out the window as I have kept my Amarok under insurance by Miway, but I would advise doing a double check on your premium this year with outsurance or who ever as they made a much better cover deal on my beloved car.
