Glass claim gone wrong!!!:( :(

In Dec-20 I logged in my first claim (glass claim)with Mi-way and my anniversary date is in march of every year as far as I know. My excess for the glass claim for the year 2020 is/was 500 as far as I know. After my claim was completed the claims Handler Nomhle Mabe provide me with my claim number C*** confirming the registration of my claim then she advise me that I will have to pay an excess amount of R1120.00. I have queried this with the claims handler and she said a renewed policy was sent to me in Sep-20 and unfortunately I cannot locate the email she claims was sent to me. She then referred to some department and I spoke to Keabetswe Mokgokolo who had a view of my policy and said he needed to listen to a voice recording to confirm if I was advised of my glass excess changes and to this date I still await.

A couple of weeks ago I tried calling Nomhle Mabe (claims handler) directly and she was to no avail as always so I popped her email wanting to know what happened to my glass excess and claim as I needed to sort out my windscreen and to this date I have not received a response.

Days later I decided to call the call centre some lady managed to put me through to Nomhle Mabe and her response regarding the email I had sent her was just flat and her level of serves was just a disgrace to the Miway brand and she just could not be of help in resolving this matter.

On the 29th Jan.21 I received my policy renewal and I perused through it and my premium has gone up, and the excess remains unchanged. I received a renewed policy schedule in Feb20 another which Nomhle Mabe claims to have been sent in Sep20 and now I’m getting another one for an increase really?? it's just a matter of months and its renewal after renewal?

I’m not happy with how my first claim is being handled and I want something done about. I’m a proud Mi-way client and I have recommended it to my family and friends but to get such treatment I’m not so sure anymore as its very disappointing.
