False promises

<p> I was contacted on 21 June 2016 by a consultant from MiWay Insurance. I immediately confirm with him that I'm happy with my current insurance with Outsurance and that I do not want to move. I was told by the consultant that the call is not to offer a new insurance but to see if MiWay would be able to beat my current insurance and if they cannot beat my current insurance, they will pay me cash payment of R400.00. I had the conversation with the consultant where he requested all my details which i supp****. I was then transferred over to Princess to give me the final quote. When she gave me the quote it was still higher than my current premium with Outsurance. Princess then requested me to get my documents, to provide to them as proof that my premium was lower with Outsurance as what MiWay offered. I did as she requested. I followed up again with MiWay on 4 July 2016, because I did not get any feedback from MiWay regarding the R400.00 pay out. This morning I opened my e-mail to find that they forwarded me a quote (that i did not even request). The premium is lower than was discussed with me over the phone, so they used my documentation from Outsurance to **** me, to go back on their word and to do anything so that they do not need to pay the money out. This is *********. I will never want to do business with a company that does this. This is a pathetic way of doing business. If they can do this to potential client what can they do to their existing clients.</p>
