False advertising

This company advertises by interviewing apparent customers on TV. One such advert is about a lady that had three accidents in a few months' period, and MiWay apparently paid out every time. This is absolute bull****. This company threatened to cancel my insurance and "blacklist" me, when I claimed for 3 occurrences in a 4 month period; so please don't believe a word these ****** say on TV.

A consultant did contact me, explaining why my case was different to the to the lady int he advert. Basically it boiled down to the fact that she was a customer for a longer period than what I was at the time, which is perhaps something they could "mention" in their campaign. In my case, I was a customer for about 6 months when I claim for the first time, which is not something I "planned", and then apparently pushed up my risk profile according to some algorithm. What this algorithm does not take into account, is the fact that I would've stayed a loyal customer, had they paid in full and without threatening me; due to the fact that they treated me well. Go figure...
