EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER AND CLIENT SERVICE

I have been a VALUED client with MiWay since the year 2012.

On the 11th May 2017 I was involved in an accident where I immediately lodged a claim (No: C849270) where Kwena Papole was assigned to assist me with the claim process. It all started off on a good note but after the first week I was the one chasing for feedback and doing all the communication. After numerous telephone calls and emails and lately sending WhatsApp messages to follow up as well I was informed that a new Claims Assessor, Wikus Kruger was assigned to assist me further. I contact him and he asked to schedule a meeting the Tuesday, 31st May 2017 at my home whereby I was Interrogate on the findings of the assessment and how the accident happened. On the day of the meeting I was informed that my car is a write off and I should get hold of a few documents to speed up the investigations process. The information required was a copy of my Bank Statement (for what reason they require a bank statement I have no idea) but sent to him the next day. They also requested me to sign an Affidavit Form and Documents (MTN Beacon and Billing Request Documents, again, for what reason they require this information I have no idea) to sign to obtain my telephone records to track as location which I signed, scanned and email back on 01/06/2017. For MiWay to be asking me this puts me in serious doubt and fear of ***** against me. I now feel that they are trying to gain as much information against me so that nothing would be fixed on my vehicle, hence, why they say it is a Write off.

After a week I was told to amend the forms as no Data was available which I did on 08/06/2017. So much questions, why was this needed to be done, again I speculate ***** against building up a case against me to not have my vehicle fixed.

Today it is the 19th June 2017 and no further information on the outcome of my claim has been received as yet.

This is extremely disappointing and frustrated to say the least. I need to get feedback regarding the above mentioned.

I have checked other complaints regarding the same frustration and saw many of these. MiWay will definitely not be mentioned by me to anyone and I strongly suggest no one joins them.

If this is the case, I will not rest until they fix my vehicle and can guarantee that my insurance with MiWay will be cancelled.
