Excess to be paid back after claim

A few months ago i was standing at the robot and then it was my turn to go and a 67 OLD man drove over the RED robot and drive into me he didn't have any damage on his SUV i am driving a small Golf Velociti and i claimed for the car to be fixed and they fixed it now when i want to claim my excess back because its not my fault that he drove into me now they don't want to pay me the money owed to me. The other person don't even have insurance, and he said that day that he is so sorry i must let him know how much it is to fix the car.

When i speak the the Claims Supervisor that person don't even talk just saying they wont pay me back my money.

i had to take a loan to get my car fixed just to get to work and back. Now i cant afford the insurance i have to pay down a loan that wasn't my fault.

if i could at least get half of the money back it will help alot.
