Excess recovery

I had an incident with my vehicle in April 2011 and I was insured with MiWay at the time.<br> The other party had reversed into my vehicle in a parking lot in Durban, I had given witness statements to the police station and the witness were willing to go to court and testify that it was the other party's fault.<br> I had proceeded with the claim with my insurance company, MiWay because I needed my vehicle repaired and was under the impression that MiWay will recover my excess because of the evidence and witnesses but it is now October 2015 when I get informed that I can not get my excess back because the other party's vehicle was a business vehicle and the company has liquidated in late 2013 and can not recover any cost from them.<br> I had to contact MiWay a number of times during the years to find out the progress on the recovery of my excess and was recently referred to another company by MiWay that apparently handles their recovery of excess who has then informed me today that they can not recover my excess due to the fact that the company has been liquidated.<br> The slogan 'we do things your' certainly does not apply here because I definitely would not do things this Way. 2011 to 2015
