Excess automatically increased without consent

This is the first insurance provider ever to automatically increase my vehicle excess on my policy anniversary. I understand that the premium will increase annually but I've never had my excess increased at the same time. Then when I query it they reduce my excess to what it originally was but then increase my premium even further. Totally unacceptable! I will be making sure that my husband & I both move our policies to another insurer.
