Excess Amount Increasing Yearly

Me. Samantha has been with Miway for 2 and a bit years now and never claimed. After 2 and a bit years I need to claim as some idiot side swiped me because he was in a hurry to get into my lane. The accident happend on the 1st of March. I have only now found out that my excess apparently increases each year, this is news to me I don't recall having a conversation informing me that my excess will increase yearly if I was made aware of this I would have found another insurance company to insure my car with, I rang the agent and now Miway states that the excess amount is R6050 where as in the beginning when the insurance was taken MiWay said that the excess amount was R5000 whenever claiming. I received my renewal letter on the 28th of February stating the effective date was the 31st of March 2019 and they have already implemented the excess amount of R6050 on my claim, This is ridiculous why are they already implementing the R6050 excess amount on my claim when its effective from the 31st of March. When I rang an agent yesterday they said he would get the person assigned to my claim to contact me Sihle Gweba is their name, what a joke I have emailed this person 3 times trying to get an answer from them regarding my claim and also to discuss the exorbitant excess I now need to fork out but no response. I have never heard of an excess amount that automatically increases yearly and have also spoken to a few people who have never heard of excess increasing yearly and there excess with their insurers have never increased this is a load of ******* obviously your premium increases yearly but not your excess. I have never claimed from any insurance company that I have been with for all the time that I have been driving and the excess amount should never increased at all. My car depreciates every year but my premiums increase every year too and so does my excess nonsense, which means that MIWAY does not lose any money at all as all the cost mainly falls on to their customers so that they can lose money. MIWAY please sort this out A.S.A.P I am not a very happy customer at the moment.
