Exceptional Customer Service from Thato Nkosi at MiWay Insurance

I am writing to you to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I have received from Dimakatso (Thato) Nkosi at MiWay Insurance.

I called Thato on Monday morning on behalf of an 81-year-old friend of mine whose television had been damaged. I have dealt with many insurance companies over the years and I have never had such excellent service and such a pleasant experience. From the beginning it was clear to me that Thato was really trying to help us. When I didn’t have the information she required, she made a plan with me to call me later at a certain time, which she honoured. She was on a call to another client and completed it and called me at our appointed time as soon after it as she could. My point here is that she is giving excellent service to every client. There are always more questions and thereafter she made an arrangement with me whereby I could email details to her personal ID. I was able to send pictures to a WhatsApp number and within a day she had acquired 2 quotations on our behalf. I did not have to fill in forms or travel around getting quotes myself. She contacted my old friend, your client, and confirmed other details. The whole thing was seamless and painless and at the end of the day we actually felt that Thato was our friend. The very last thing we were advised to do was to have a look at the TV at a shop. Thato sent a very professional, very comprehensive list of potential shops. We viewed the TV in the morning, confirmed with Thato, and received a call in the afternoon that Gill’s new TV would be delivered on the weekend. This is under one week from the time we made the initial call.

I am so impressed at Thato’s professionalism and work ethic. She is a window to the organisation. I have worked in the IT industry all my life, for IBM and Dimension Data as a Sales Manager. I am now 54, so I have worked for many years. I know how rare it is to encounter such an excellent person, and how very important it is to an organisation. There are a lot of adverti*****ts for MiWay on at the moment. The message from those is that MiWay cares for the individual. Thato really lives that message. My old friend is quite housebound nowadays and very reliant on her TV. It was clear all along that Thato was trying her best to put her back into the position that she had been, as soon as possible. The whole experience was so pleasant and not at all the stressful, impossible task that she initially feared it may be.
