Excellent service

This review is months overdue. Our car was involved in a rear end collision. An impatient driver, uninsured and driving recklessly. End result was a high speed impact to the back so damaged bumper, reinforcement, spare wheel well, shock, rear valence and so it goes on. Where this takes a nasty turn is whilst I am medically boarded, my prior career was motor industry and in particular vehicle workshops and panel shops, so I am a nightmare client. Upon calling in to Miway, a young lady Ntsetsa Maake, started the procedures. I stipulated Isuzu Repair Centre as it was OEM recognised. Later after calling Isuzu and others, I settled on Cornright Motors. Called in, explained and asked if they wanted a client and job like this...this is where their nightmare started. A young man by the name of Ricky took control. And so the battle with parts, required items and a difficult know it all client began. In my duties within the motor world I was delegated motorplan, warranty and checks required in certain cases. So some of the OEMs trained me on paint, panel, wheel alignment, chassis and so on. And in my youth I was privileged to be mentored by some pretty awesome and knowledgeable people, but that creates an extremely bad client when their own car goes on for repair. Now I won't bore people with managing, calls, constant checking of paint repair, chassis jig measurement, wheel alignment, ride heights and panel alignment. The purpose was to praise those involved for the willingness to help, the achievement of the benchmark standards I had set and the friendliness during the process. And whilst the people I dealt with are employed to perform duties, they went over and above. Ntsetsa called, checked on my wife, explained processes and authorities, assisted with car hire and so on but the entire time was friendly, professional and courteous. The process took over 2 months but parts were an issue. Miway staff touched base regularly and even when I was on a mission, took patience and time. Ricky, from Cornright, got the shorter end of the stick....so to say. I wanted measurement, details, paint specifications and so on, so admittedly I was painful. He never missed a beat. Returned calls, met standards and went the extra mile. So to Miway and Cornright, my thanks. Without the assistance the car would never have been right. Unfortunately upon its return my wife never settled with the vehicle and so we traded in. But it was merely a case of what happens after a high speed impact, so nerves etc. And the driver who caused all this disappeared so without Miway the car would never have been rectified. Lol karma will sort out the other driver. Miway and Cornright, it's been over 20 years I had to have a car repaired and whilst I am a cantankerous client, you guys did an awesome job. Thank you.
