Easy to join - hard to leave
<p>Joining Miway and amending policy details is a breeze although if you want to insure specialised portable items beware, call-centre staff are not too knowledgeable.</p> <p>The problem occurs upon cancellation of your insurance policy. I've been claim-free for the duration of my policy and always up to date with my premium payments. Upon attempting to cancel Miway suddenly wanted to demand a 30-day notice period...which is of course a ridiculous concept in the insurance industry. This is just a shady means to rob you of one extra premium at no benefit to yourself. Not a great way to leave a lasting impression if they were hoping to one day win me back!</p>
