Double Debit after Policy amendment

<p>Hi write this review with a very disappointed view. I updated my policy last week Wednesday 20 Sep 2017 by removing a vehicle I had sold and adding a vehicle is had bough. I was then requoted and told my debit will deduct for R995, this was however true, but there was an additional debit that also deducted on the 23 Sep for R1020.34 which was not planned of bugeted for. I contacted the call center this morning to ask for them to refund me the money. They said it can only be done after 7 days and if I send them a bank statement it would take 3 working days which I can not wait as i need the funds for a well deserved holiday. To speed up the process, I contacted my bank via my cell phone and spent a total of roughly 40 minutes on the line between my Bank and Miway to do a reversal which has many implications. I find it very pathetic that the consultant never advised me that the amendments to the policy at such a late could impact the debit order on the 23rd. I am now potentially looking for another insurer. An apology will not cut it as I had to waist a lot of my time to get resolve your mishap.</p>
