Do not get MiWay Insurance

Extremely disappointed in the service I received from MiWay insurance. I recently made a claim for my car - firstly it took a week for the claims/customer service people to get back at me.

When they finally did get back to me, they asked me to submit my images for the damages on my vehicle after waiting another week for a response they told me my claim does not qualify to be attended to because my policy only cover for damages above R14K.

Even with this, how were they able to tell from images that my damages were less than R14K. They could have actually first asked me to at least get 3 quotations from panel beaters so they can assess the damage instead of declining my claim solely based on images.

Anyways, after I get rejected I go myself to get 4 DIFFERENT quotes from 4 DIFFERENT panel beaters and they ALL told me it would cost above R14K to fix the damages on my vehicle.

I go back to MiWay and they are telling me to go to Suzuki - what am I doing at a Suzuki???

How is that going to help me. So so disappointed. I definitely would not recommend anyone to choose MiWay as an insurance broker - I'm looking to change myself!
