!!Distress call!!

I lodged a claim on 20th September 2023, and three months later, I still don't have my car. The case handler's management of my claim has demonstrated a lack of care for me as a client and even basic consideration on a human level.

The chosen panel beaters have a terrible reputation on this platform. When this was raised with Miway at the beginning of the process, we were assured that we could always reach out to Miway if we were dissatisfied with anything related to the repair process.

Attempts to escalate the delays experienced through the contact center have repeatedly failed, as each agent opted to send email after email to the panel beaters to confirm the case status.

Speaking of the panel beaters, collection dates have been dishonored on five occasions since 28th November 2023. A repair process that should have taken 10 working days, according to the claim acceptance letter, has taken 8 weeks to date.

I write this hoping that I can finally get through to someone within the organization who will take my concerns seriously and return my car to me. The panel beaters will be closing operations for the year this week, and I worry they will keep my car until 2024.

I wish to remind Miway that I am a long-standing client, with the organization for well over a decade, and have insured multiple vehicles with the company. In my time with Miway, this has been the worst claim experience I have had. Olga's service has been most disappointing, and Island Auto has truly brought me to a point of desperation. I implore you to support me in having my adequately repaired vehicle without further delay - please.

I appreciate Onalenna's call today. As expressed repeatedly in the past week, to various associates within Miway, I vehemently reject Island Auto's ETA of 21 December 2023 and expressly request that my vehicle be prioritized for delivery today. This is not an unreasonable request considering the initial ETA was 28 November 2023 - 15 business days later, I still do not have my car - and have heard every excuse under the sun as to why that is.

I pleaded with Onalenna to escalate my request to someone who can ensure that my car will be ready for collection TODAY. He requested I afford him time to reach out to Procurement Department to speak with the Management of Island Auto, he further said he will contact the Assessment team to assess the car and will contact me by 12:00 today to advise on the results of his efforts.

I await further communication.

Further feedback received: Alignment has been rectified, car is in paint shop and will require several hours to cure before the rear glass is refitted. It will be detailed and cleaned tomorrow. I have requested a time commitment as the above activities are sequential and can be timed.

Island Auto continues to disregard their client - at this stage in the engagement, they cannot say "call first thing tomorrow to find out when the car will be ready" and deem that an acceptable commitment.

I need to know exactly what time I need to be at the site to collect my vehicle.
