Disrespectful call center management

Good day. In January, I changed my address on your website. This led to a decrease in my premium. When the debit order went off, I noticed the decrease was not effective. I then called your customer services center to discuss this, and a few other issues. To make this easy - Adress 1 = Amanzimtoti = Old - Adress 2 = Kloof = New I explained to the consultant, Nompumelelo Mntambo, that the system had changed my address from Address 2 back to Address 1. She claimed that this was not possible. I took the screenshot below to show you that it is.I only moved to Kloof this year, and the address would not have shown on my list of addresses had I not entered it there. She then changed my address and said she would speak to her manager. She returned to say that the amount would be credited to me and the address was now changed. I was very happy with all of this. At some stage, she questioned her manager further, who then told her to inform me "it was my duty" to ensure that the address was saved correctly on your system. The manager, Itumeleng Selau, in my view, should never be allowed to work in a customer service environment. Never in my life as a customer or client of multiple service providers have I heard that it is my duty to ensure your system does what it is designed to do. My duty is to keep details up to date. Once I've updated and saved it, I close the website and go on with my life. I PAY YOU AND PEOPLE LIKE ITUMELENG to ensure that your system does whatever it needs to do. Who on earth is she to tell me it is my duty to go back and check? Is she going to pay me for that, because I pay you for it? Further to this. I asked about the sudden increase in my premium (The car depreciates, yet my premium increases). I was told that it is due to the increase in the price of spares etc. Yet... My policy states "Phillip Jacobus Roberts (93########081) is noted as the Regular Driver. This vehicle is Comprehensively insured on RETAIL VALUE for". The retail value has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY. You can't have it both ways, can you? Now which is it? The retail value? Or the cost of spares? Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me anyway. To top it all off - I have never used any other insurance. I have never even claimed. But when I can afford a car and insurance, I was always stupid enough to choose you. Don't even bother entertaining my questions, however - there is still an expectancy that you hold Itumeleng accountable for her complete lack of respect and understanding. Nompumelelo Mntambo was excellent, and I will rate her as such on Hello Peter.

The call was 02/02/2024 13:09. Not even any regards to you bunch, Jaco
